It’s that time of year again, when investors tune in to read the Warren Buffett annual letter to shareholders to see what information they can glean from the Oracle of Omaha.
Every year dating back to 1965, Buffett, the greatest investor of our generation, releases this annual letter to shareholders. It’s public and anyone can read it. The Buffett annual letter has been so popular over the years, there’s even a book compiling all of the letters from 1965 to 2014.
And in the Buffett annual letter for 2021, which was released over the weekend, there are two big takeaways. The first we’ll cover today in the video below… and the second we’ll cover in another later this week.
The first topic we’ll discuss is Buffett’s “always bet on America” philosophy, which he also calls “the great American tailwind.”
What is that, exactly? Well, if you go back and study history and look at a graph of the U.S. economy and the stock market over time, it’s gone from the lower left to the upper right. Aside from pullbacks, corrections, bear markets and recessions, it’s always gone up.
After every downturn in history thus far, we’ve had higher prices afterward — that’s the great American tailwind. And it’s exceptionally powerful!
He owes most of his success to that tailwind that he and his partner, Charlie Munger, first recognized back in the 1950s. They’ve been riding that tailwind for decades and decades, and it’s worked exceptionally well for them.
Why? Because when the market dips, they don’t freak out, sell everything and run away. So for their approach, it’s worked well — and that’s what I’ll cover in today’s video: finding a system that works for you.
So let’s discuss the Buffett annual letter for 2021 and how you can employ some of his strategies and philosophies in your portfolio.

P.S. Learn How To Spot These Fast-Growing Small Caps
Small-cap stocks have the potential to rally faster than their blue-chip cousins. And yet many people ignore this sector in favor of companies they’re more familiar with.
Right now, small caps look to be on the verge of a massive breakout. In fact, they’ve already allowed WealthPress Senior Strategist Roger Scott to signal impressive winners, like 118% on PFSI… 153% on DDD… and even 414% on CNE.
Roger says the key to making these big returns is learning how to spot small-cap “microbursts” before they happen… and then riding that momentum as the stock climbs higher.
He’s even agreed to show us how he finds these little-known microbursts!
